Estalara

Estalara vs Zoom for live property viewings

Many agencies already show properties on Zoom, Google Meet or WhatsApp video. It works, and for a one-to-one call with a buyer you already know it is enough. This page is about what happens when the viewing has to do more: reach several remote buyers at once, tell you who is serious, and leave something behind for the seller.

The short answer

Zoom wins as a meeting tool. Estalara wins as a listing sales event.

Zoom is excellent at what it was built for: a scheduled call between people who agreed to talk. If a known buyer wants a private walkthrough on Tuesday, a Zoom link is the fastest way to give them one. Nothing on this page argues otherwise.

A property viewing, though, is a sales event with an audience you do not fully know yet. Estalara treats it that way: one live showcase from the property to many viewers who stay anonymous to each other, real-time translation for the ones who do not share your language, and behavioural scoring of what each viewer did so you know who to call first. It runs under your agency's brand and hands you a transcript, a summary and a ranked hot-lead list afterwards. Zoom hands you a recording.

Fair is fair

When Zoom is the right choice

Keep using a plain video call if:

  • The viewing is a private one-to-one with a buyer you already know and trust, and both of you speak the same language.
  • You show properties remotely a few times a year and do not need scoring, translation or a branded experience.
  • The buyer is local and will visit in person within days; the call is only a preview.
  • You need screen sharing, documents on screen and a meeting-style agenda more than a walkthrough.

What changes with Estalara

From a call to a listing event

One showcase, many buyers

Present the property once to everyone interested, in one session, instead of repeating the same walkthrough call by call.

You know who was serious

Watch time, questions and engagement are scored per viewer, so the first call the next morning goes to the buyer who asked about the notary, not the one who left after the kitchen.

International buyers can actually follow

Real-time translation lets a buyer from Germany, the UK or the Gulf ask questions in their own language during the same session.

Under your brand, with something to show

The listing page, the showcase and the follow-up carry the agency's identity, and the recording becomes proof of process for the next seller.

FAQ

Common questions

Can I still use Zoom for one-to-one calls after a showcase?

Yes, and many agencies do. Estalara also lets the agent move a buyer from the group showcase into a one-to-one session in the same system, so there is no need to send them elsewhere; on the Solo plan those meetings are billed per meeting (see pricing).

Do viewers need an account or an app to join an Estalara showcase?

Viewers join the live showcase from the branded listing page. Details of how joining works for your buyers are best seen in a demo, because they depend on how your listing pages are set up.

Is the translation good enough for a property conversation?

It is built for exactly that: questions and answers about a property during a live session. It does not replace a sworn translator at the notary; it removes the language barrier at the stage where the buyer is deciding whether to fly in.

What do I get after the showcase that I would not get from a Zoom recording?

A transcript and summary, an intent score per viewer based on what they did, and a ranked hot-lead list with each viewer's questions. The transcript also trains the AI chat on that listing for the next buyer.
